Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white flour
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp yeast
  • 1.5 cups water

Equipment

  • Oven preheated to 500°F
  • Iron pot with lid
  • 2 bowls (mixing + rising)
  • Cloth dusted with rice flour

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients (dry, then wet)
  • Wait 20–24 hours
  • Scrape onto heavily floured surface, fold
  • Let rise 2–3 hours in cloth covered with rice flour
  • Bake 30 min in 500°F iron pot with lid
  • Bake 15 min in 500°F iron pot without lid
