This space purposefully left blank.....or it would be if I hadn't told you it was blank....which now it isn't.....
Hello, my good friend!  It is with deepest virtual sincerity that I welcome you to your own computer screen, since you are still wherever you are, although sometimes it really does feel like you have gone somewhere.  But enough phenomenology.  I am a nice kid who works at Hogwarts, as far as I can tell from looking out the window.  These days I am studying theories of judgment, field theory, and party formation.  I have previously written on classical theory, the rationalization of war, dominance hierarchies among pre-adolescents, the U.S. Constitutional Convention, historical changes in sexual decision making and the economy, the shaping of belief systems, political ideology, the use of race as a conceptual category in American sociology, the relationship between interpersonal power and attributions of sexiness, methods for the analysis of qualitative data, political psychology, and the division of labor in Busytown.  I am nine years old.

This is a landing site primarily intended to assist in downloading programs and/or data that have been used in published articles.  (These articles are listed in my CV, which you can get to by clicking on the letters "CV".)  All the programs are on the page linked to this one, and come in the form of archived zip files; they include documentation that is moderately accurate and helpful.

In case you couldn't tell, I put this together in 45 minutes without even looking at a help file or knowing what any of this is, so probably this is not only ugly to look at but dangerous for your computer. This is the old version.  Some things you can't get to otherwise are below.

Critics' Choice:

Current hot book:  Social Structures, available from Princeton University PressThis tells a story we have been waiting to hear about where social structure really comes from....

I also teach Classes, and while they don't have a lot of computer-thing stuff associated with them, you can get syllabi and the answers to last years examinations by clicking on the word "classes" earlier in this sentence.

You may also be able to find here works in progress, such as my books:

I Spit on your Grave:  Essays on Weber and Durkheim

or

Party Naked:  The Talcott Parsons Story

or the brief article "The Fruits of Knowledge".  I recently recovered the first page of an article, the only copy of which I had posed on our bulletin board at Rutgers.  If you need to pursue links to violent and deranged teenage websites, try THIS.  Or a word from the Thirteenth Floor Elevators:

you may also find malicious gossip about my colleagues here....
