Bulls Win!

I watched the 2nd half of the Bulls-Heat basketball game on lincoln avenue while catching up with AY. Much to our chagrin, the BW3 on Lincoln is closed for remodelling and won't reopen for months. We ended up at a plan B place down the street, which offered a fantastic screen to watch the game on (but had chicken wings that were at best mediocre).

That aside, great conversation and a fantastic outcome to the game. When the Bulls attack the rim they minimize the effects that their lack of size creates on the offensive half of the game. Deng, Gordon, Nocioni, and Hinrich all can get to the rim and force the defense to react to them. In watching them close out the regular season, you could see a committment to attacking the rim. Important.

While I'd like to see the Bulls pull this series out, I'm not convinced that they can keep Miami out of sync (and Shaq out of the paint) for several games. My guess is that Miami will win in six.

It will be interesting to see what the fallout from the horrible lack of composure that Miami showed at the end of the game will be.
