Postdoctoral Fellow
Somayeh Amadiantehrani. Somayeh earned her PhD from UCSF and will develop and apply gene transfer techniques to study the molecular mechanisms of developmental song learning.
Masters Student
Brittany Borden. Brittany is studying how age and experience can modify expression of genes that stabilize synapses.
PhD Student
Geoff Brookshire. Geoff is testing lingiuistic characteristics in finches. (while he also works in Daniel Casasanto's lab)
Undergraduate students
Jen Law. Jen is interested in the genetics underlying social behaviors and is currently working on epigenomics projects.
Dagny Vaughn. Dagny is working on neuroanatomical mapping of genes that regulate syanpse organization across development.
Ambrose Donnelly. Ambrose, visiting us from St John's, is working on genes in the developing brain that are regulated by estradiol.
Elisa Gores. Elisa (who gets double-billing!) is working on genes that regulate synaptic function and inhibitory circuit formation across development.
Bird Caretakers
Elisa Gores. Elisa takes extraordinarily good care of our birds from hatching to adulthood.
