My work focuses on the operational aspects of the ride-hailing market. In particular, how spatial prices can impact the relocation behavior of the drivers and how dynamic controls can be utilized by a platform to improve the performance of the market. From a methodological perspective, I am interested in structural estimation, stochastic control, and queueing theory.

Working Papers:

  • “Spatial Pricing: An Empirical Analysis of Taxi Rides in New York City” with Baris Ata and Sunil Kumar.

  • “Speedup and Slowdown in Multi-Class Service Systems with Returns” with Hossein Abouee-Mehrizi.
