We adopted a black female kitten a month ago, and we named her Elphie. Now that she claims the apartment as "her" house, she has been making some vocal demands. What a cat! The most interesting behavior that she exhibits is dragging her toy, especially the tassle-on-a-string. Whenever she "captures" this toy in her mouth, she cries. Not sure what Elphie is trying to convey, but it's definitely not a cry of fear. I've got to invent a translator for cats...

Isn't she cute?
