Digital Wonders
Scouted the weeknight Chicago street with fellow photography-lover, and used the Nikon D70 (on a loan) camera. Especially true for night time shots, the digital camera allowed me to first see the picture. With a regular film camera, you'd have to wait until you develop the rolls. I guess the digital camera takes away the anticipation. Then again, it does allow for taking better picture because you can immediately try other settings.
Anyways, here are some of those pictures.
What I also like about digital SLR is the fact that the resolution of the image is high and each picture can be cropped/zoomed with ease without compromising the image quality. Because the price tag on the digital SLR is relatively high right now, it won't be popular for a while (and the fact that it can't be a small, slick, fit-in-your-pocket camera).
my goal: understand the concept of regular SLR. and eventually down the road, I'll invest in a digital SLR. I'm sure by that time, the technology of digital camera will have improved.
