As I sit here at the San Diego convention center, writing this blog on a G4 with wireless connection, I ponder about the power that Wi-Fi has yet to realize. Every corner of this convention center is a hotspot for wireless internet. No wires or jacks necessary. Just make sure your laptop has enough battery power. The elimination of wires running around and the ability to be mobile are two conveniences that Wi-Fi is offering. Not to mention that number of users that can connect to the network. I know some cities are having public hotspot, and it's only a matter of time before every modernized settlement is connected by signals invisible to a naked eye.
If one were to stop and think how many different wavelengths are penetrating through our bodies at each moment in time, it could be scary. I wonder if in the future, a wireless receiver/transmitter will be implanted into a person's brain...
