  • The Thomas W. Wier who is a "codemaniac".
  • The Civil War captain, Thomas Dabney Wier, who is my great-great-grandfather.
  • The Thomas P. Wier who was a member of the Georgia 5th Infantry Regiment, veteran of the battle of Chickamauga among others (no relation). 
  • The Dr. Thomas P. Wier, Jr., my late grandfather, who discovered how to electroplate aluminum in 1943, and was a poet, teacher, inventor, and author of two books.
  • The Thomas P. Wier, III, my father, who is a CPA, CVA and medical practice broker.

  • The signer of the South Carolina Ordinance of Secession. 
  • The olympic torchbearer of Walla Walla, Washington (along with his family who now reside in Boulder, Colorado).
