Steven I. Wilkinson

Welcome. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago , where I teach comparative politics. My main research interests are in ethnic politics and in ethnic conflict, patronage politics, and the long term effects of colonization on patterns of democracy and conflict.

I am in active in LiCEP , a research group of scholars interested in developing better theories and measures of ethnic identity and conflicts.
