I am a second year graduate student in the Department of Geophysical Sciences hailing from the great state of Minnesota (You Betcha!). I attended college in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I learned the ways of the Yooper culture (Pasty anyone?) and survived 1000 inches of snow over four 6-month winters. I now live on the north side of Chicago with my husband of one year and am enjoying big city life and the southern weather.
