POST-DOC POSITION OPENING IN MEDICAL IMAGING

Description:

A post-doctoral position is available in conducting research in advanced medical imaging, with an emphasis on tomographic X-ray imaging. The research projects will focus on one of two main efforts: (1) computational research - involving implementation of image reconstruction algorithms and physical modeling of tomographic systems and (2) systems evaluation - evaluation of tomographic systems and image reconstruction algorithms by image analysis and by computerized observer-models. Projects related to the former effort require a PhD degree in physics or applied math, while the latter effort is open to PhDs in related fields such as computer science.

The position is for up to 2 years, can be renewable after that.
