Airports

If you're flying in or out of Chicago, you'll likely use either Midway or O'Hare Airport. If you can, opt for Midway it's closer to Hyde Park and much smaller. Midway is on the southwest side of Chicago, about 30 minutes from Hyde Park. O'Hare, located in a northwest suburb of Chicago, is at least 45 minutes from campus by car if there is no traffic at all. Because the airport is so large, leave extra time to get around.

The Bus
Greyhound Bus Lines

630 West Harrison Street
312-408-9980 (Chicago terminal)
800-231-2222 (General information)

If you're taking the bus to Chicago, do yourself a favor and take a taxi from the bus station. Its a bit on the seemy side around this area and its not exactly in the bustling downtown area. Some, I'm sure, will want to come this way for the reverse coolness factor (you know who you are) and I say go for it, but remember bus rides in the USA take forever and you aren't allowed to smoke, drink or act insane. You'll end up being put off the bus in Baltimore, and no one can help you there.
