DOWNTOWN
Westin Hotel River North
Online: http://www.westinchicago.com/
Call: 1-877-866-9216
Close to the Metra station, good air conditioning and new construction make this one of the most comfortable, if not the most romantic places to stay in the downtown area. its close to Navy pier and has a nice view of the river. You can walk across the street to Oprah's restaurant. You'll feel like you're living the high life.

Hilton on Mighigan Avenue
Online: http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=CHICHHH (they sure don't make that one easy to type out)
Call 1800-hilton

Last time I was in the Hilton, the air conditioning didn't work that well. However,In October this won't be such a big deal. Its a nice location, and has nice views of the lake front. blockquote>

Palmer House

Call: 1-312-726-7500

OK, so its famous and the lobby is really cool. However, its also sort of old and musty. With all the comings and goings of tourists it feels more like Grand Central station then a place to sleep. On the other hand, if its your first time in Chicago, you might want to experience some of the landmark feel of this urban 19th Century tribute to the steel barons. Its close to Metra and Marshalls and other shopping and they did invent the brownie.

The Ramada Inn is in Hyde Park. Some people don't feel safe at the Ramada I can't lie, there have been shootings in the parking lot. Others find its not that clean. I can't say its in the most convenient location for the Wedding. You'll have to catch a cab if you're wearing heels. You would seriously be better off staying downtown.
