OK, so its famous and the lobby is really cool. However, its also sort of old and musty. With all the comings and goings of tourists it feels more like Grand Central station then a place to sleep. On the other hand, if its your first time in Chicago, you might want to experience some of the landmark feel of this urban 19th Century tribute to the steel barons.Its close to Metra and Marshalls and other shopping and they did invent the brownie.
Hyde Park Ramada Inn
Call: 773-288-5800The Ramada Inn is in Hyde Park. Some people don't feel safe at the Ramada I can't lie, there have been shootings in the parking lot. Others find its not that clean. I can't say its in the most convenient location for the Wedding. You'll have to catch a cab if you're wearing heels. You would seriously be better off staying downtown.International House
