I can also advise you on sources and methodologies for your own research projects related to the Middle East. Qualifications and Credentials:

 

v    Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

v    MA program in Middle East Studies at the University of Chicago.

 

v    PhD in progress at the University of Chicago in Modern Middle East History.

 

v    Several years residence in the Arab countries. Familiarity with Jordan, the West Bank, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and the UAE.

 

v    Arabic Language study through the fourth year level, with knowledge of several dialects. Experience teaching Modern Standard Arabic.
