Research Interests

My research interests center on the impact of consumers’ information processing decisions on asset prices.  Whereas classical finance models assume that consumers have no choice over the signals that they receive and are able to perfectly process the information they do receive, my research seeks to understand how information set and likelihood choices affect asset prices and portfolio decisions. Specifically, my work explores the implications of information processing decisions that arise in settings where the consumers must choose which signals to observe or which likelihood best describes the evolution of fundamentals in the economy or both.
