• I'm currently working as a Research Assistant for Professor Yang of the Department of Sociology. It is some really interesting work on the demography of aging: the fundemental question is whether or not increases in life expectancy over the last few decades are increases in quality life. • 2007: My Summer as an Actuary at Allstate Financial. 12 weeks of financial modeling in the Life Insurance industry, interspersed with the odd trip to Six Flags and Wrigley Field. AF is an awesome place to work; check out their sweet internship program!
• 2006 VIGRE REU Program: Ah yes! Could there be any better way to spend a summer? Total immersion in mathematics for eight weeks. A true nerd-heaven!
