More Static Balance in the Pool

The static balance exercises are getting old fast, but I am still making some overall progress---even though I do not feel like I am doing any better on, say, the SGB portions (FB and BB are as good as I can make them). I think I finally have the exhale-under-water business down which is making the swim portions less exhausting. Since I do not own fins of any kind, I feel good about the VK work (Hines suggests moving from long- to short-blade fins, but I do fine without any---except for the hand on the head ones that I am sure will come along). The biggest issue at this point is remaining excited for the swim days. As I say, they are not the most thrilling workouts I do and the scenery is a bit static, so we plug along using the completion of each level as the motivator.
