Swim Workout 2
Helping to run a conference this weekend, I skipped my morning run so that I could be at the hotel by 6:30am (meant to be there at 6, but took me longer than expected to make a shirt and tie match). Right hamstring was bugging me a bit anyway (although more likely than not from some crazy driving). I Decided to go ahead and hit the pool tonight before it closed at 9.
Did Hines Green Workout 2 with its focus on Vertical Kicking:
4x25 on :15RMax alternating between Front and Rear
8x25 on :15RMax alternating between Front, Sides and Rear.
2x25 Swim on :20R
4x25 on :15RMax Alternating between Front, Sides, and Rear
4x :15 VK on :15R
4x25 on :15RMax alternating between front, sides, rear
4x :15 VK on :10R
2x25 swim on :20R
The swim portions are 'slower' than I would have thought would be an appropriate but they feel good and I cover a fair bit of water pretty quickly.
Total distance: approx 750m (adds a distance value to the Vertical Kicking).
