• Marsh White Award for Outreach - January 2007
  -This award was presented to to the Ohio University Society of Physics Students (SPS) by the National SPS based on our proposal for the After School Science Club. It included $300 to fund infrastructure equipment for the project.

• Society of Physics Students Outstanding Chapter - 2007
  -The Ohio University SPS was named by SPS National as an outstanding chapter for the 2006-2007 school year based on our participation in the SPS Outreach Catalyst Kit (SOCK) program, our receipt of the Marsh White award, and weekly meetings with faculty talks. "OU has an excellent outreach program and an impressive increase in chapter activity over the past few years," the award citation said. I am proud of my role as president during this time and for the hard work and dedication that all the members of the group provided.
