Collier University of Chicago
Renaissance Workshop
Meetings: alternate Mondays 5:00-6:30 in Rosenwald 405

Welcome to the Renaissance Workshop

We are an interdisciplinary workshop dedicated to the discussion of a wide range of topics concerning the arts and culture of the Renaissance period including: literature, visual art, music, religion, politics, overseas exploration and much more. We meet on alternate Mondays throughout the academic year. The workshop serves as a forum for graduate students to receive feedback on dissertation chapters, mock job talks and other significant work. We also enjoy discussions of pre-circulated papers by both University of Chicago faculty and visitors from institutions around the country.

This site is no longer in use for the University of Chicago Renaissance Workshop. For current information about the workshop, please visit the blog maintained by the current coordinators at: http://cas.uchicago.edu/workshops/renaissance/
