I really don't know what I'll put up here, as I don't have too many recent pictures. Maybe I'll put up some pictures of what matters to me most in life. Yes, that's right folks, get read for deep introspection, starting with
No, no, just kidding. First of all, I'll start with the obvious stuff. Oh, wait, I don't have any pictures of my family on the computer. Oh well, that will get rectified sooner or later.
I guess, then, I'll put up a picture of a few of my good friends. My friends are important to me.
Unforunately, I don't have many
digitized pictures of them either. Well, here is one of Adam and I at any rate.
It represents, uh, how most people saw us during High School. Yeah.
And here is a much prettier picture from the same party:
The three people are, from left:
Bao: Bao's a weird one. I care the world about her for reasons that are selfless if not entirely normal. Be nice to her or the wrath of god will fall upon you.
Prachi: Prachi's a friend from high school whom I've recently started talking to again. She's very friendly and sympathetic. I think she's a genuinly good person, and certainly she deserves niceness.
Irene: Irene's my talkbuddy. I send her longish, vaguelly introspective emails cuz I know she's ok with that sort of thing and will read it, but not take it too seriously if it shouldn't be taken too seriously. Her boyfriend can kick your ass, so be nice. (Anybody noticing a common theme?)
And one more while I'm having fun programming this:

This is a great picture of a Komondor puppy and a "Giant" Schnauzer. Komondors are great dogs, they're very fiercly loyal, fiercly affectionate, and if necessary just plain fierce. They've been bred to be loyal to you and to protect you with all the fierocity that a dog can muster - and they'll turn that fierocity into saying hello to you when you get home too. They represent some of the best that nature has to offer carefully bred by intelligent and good-hearted humans to the service of man. They're hard not to like, except for the fact that they're a bit much. I should also mention that my morality has been highly influenced by this wonderful creature.
Just don't prioritize them over humans. Not that you would. Just making sure everyone knows where I stand - I can afford to eulogize Komondors specifically because they're not human. Indeed, this is one of the reasons they need eulogization in a world that is not always kind to nonhuman creatures.
And last but certainly not least, here is a picture of my good friend Andrew. He is an Honours Biochem major who works summers in a genetics lab and who will proabably apply to a joint PhD/MD program after college. I used to have his self portrait up here, but he told me he wanted me to take it down. So I had to draw a replacement myself:
Don't let this happen to you! Send me your picture today! =)
