Hello! My name is Jiayue Cui. I am currently the leader of the library production core at the Chicago Tri-Institutional Center for Chemical Methods and Library Development (CTCMLD) - one of the five NIH-funded centers for small-molecule library synthesis and probe discovery. I was born and raised in the city of Tianjin, China. I received my B.Sc. in 2004 from the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University in Beijing, China, and conducted research on the synthesis of new isoquinolines under the supervision of Professors Zhen Yang and Jiahua Chen. In 2005, I joined the research group of Professor Sergey Kozmin at the University of Chicago as a graduate student, with research focusing on the development of practical syntheses of small-molecule libraries and the discovery of new bioactive chemotypes. I graduated with my Ph.D. in 2009 and joined CTCMLD in 2010. I love traveling, baseball and web design. Thank you for visiting my site! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
