PRESENTATIONS

Presentations are meant to be informal and to faciliate classroom discussion.

In preparing your presentations, try to identify the main conclusions of the paper and summarize the arguments presented in support of these conclusions. DO NOT try to provide a comprehensive summary of the entire paper, but to draw out the most important points.

After summarizing the main argument(s) of the paper, try to adopt a critical stance (either positive or negative) on the conclusions drawn by the author(s). It is also perfectly fine to raise questions about the readings (e.g., points that you genuinely did not understand, or points that you found disageeable).

Please try to limit your presentation to 15-20 minutes.
