Landscaping the Fourth Estate
Just got the go-ahead to write for Time Out Chicago, a publication I like a lot. And I forgot to mention it 'til now, but I was also recently asked to begin contributing to the Pitchfork Media (who boast quite an impressive roster of contributing writers these days.) So be lookin' for your boy in these pages sometime soon. Also, in a now-ongoing surprise, a little review I originally wrote for SF Weekly, subsequently picked up on the wire by fellow VVM outlets City Pages and the Dallas Observer, has now been reprinted for the fourth time, in the Houston Press. Ho, Larry. POSTSCRIPT 4/1/07: This same little review was recently syndicated a fifth time, in the New Times Broward-Palm Beach, bringing the total number of publications to which I've contributed over the past two years to around a dozen.
