I spend way too much time re-tuning after I put on a capo. Does anyone have recommendations for a good place to have this done, like, that you'd swear by their abilities and turn-around time? The only setback (a very small one, really) is that I can only set it up to play "Baby I'm-a Want You." You don't happen to have that song in your set list, do you? Let me know. Anyway, I'll share my special set-up method with my homies here on the list. What up, hyde park doggz! First I boil up a bunch of eggs. Then I press the eggs down against the strings such that they get sliced neatly into wedges as they fall into the soundhole. Then, I play a little bit of "Ventura Highway," just to make sure the eggs are jammed in there real good. Next I take the guitar down to the 7-11 near my house, and fill up the rest of the soundhole with blueberry Slurpee. The guitar sounds good as a motherfucker afterwards, every single time! I know it sounds crazy, but it WORKS. So when do you plan to bring it over for me to work on? I can come by your place after work today. I'll just come by around 6 or so.
