Be An Actuary: A site giving information for people who want to become an actuary. I'm not implying anything by it, but here's a site that gives you 10th and 90th percentile salaries of actuaries, grouped by tests passed and years of experience.

Eyesore Of The Month: A page updated on the first of every month (archive available) by James Howard Kunstler. He posts a picture of some design abomination and usually has some humorous, choice words to say about it.

Japan Today: A Japanese news site in English. The "Pop Vox" responses are usually worth thinking about.

JREF: The James Randi Educational Foundation is an organization founded by James Randi that promotes critical thinking. The commentaries are updated every Friday morning and are always excellent reads.
