About the Auctores...

This web site was created by three students (Shana Kyler, Aaron Gatewood, and Sebastian Fleming) and their instructor (Ms. Zuber) under the supervision of Mrs. Alice Mulberry, Latin teacher at Kenwood Academy, Chicago, IL. The three students are sophomores at Kenwood Academy currently doing their fourth year of Latin at the Honors level. Under the direction of Ms. Zuber, they are reading selections from Vergil's Aeneid throughout this academic year. Sebastian and Aaron participated in the 13th Annual Chicago Public Schools Latin Olympics and performed so well that they received Olmypian honors. Shana has been an active member of Kenwood's Ancient Culture Club and intends to continue her Latin studies with a fifth year of AP Latin next year.
