About me

I'm a fourth year computer science major at the University of Chicago. I created this website to showcase a few of the projects I've been involved with.

My Projects

Software Factories in Microsoft .NET

Software Factories ("software that writes software") is an exciting area that is just picking up some steam in the development community. This past summer, I did a lot of work with Microsoft's Guidance Automation Toolkit and Domain-Specific Language tools to create some practical software factories that were capable of generating web services, Silverlight applications, and complex grids.

See the YouTube videos of me talking about software factories (and a demo) here.

Firefox/IE7 Search Plugin for CTA Maps

I've always been a fan on the very useful Chicago 'El' Map on tastypopsicle.com. I've written a Firefox/IE7 search plugin that allows people to plot addresses on this map from the browser search bar.

Download it now.

Language Archives Database

A new version of a cataloging database for the Language Archives at the U of C.

Take a look at the online version on the Language Archives website.

Media HyperAtlas

I've been developing this project for some time at work. Basically, it's a visualization program that maps data about media in a 3D immersive environment.

More information (and an online version) is on the project website.

University of Chicago Maroon Website

I recently did much of the Ruby on Rails work for the new Maroon website.
