I am a Fourth Year PhD Student in the Finance program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I am Thai, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and grew up in Singapore. In Singapore, I went to the Singapore American School. After that, I moved back to the U.S. to attend the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, graduating in 2012 with a B.S. in Honors Economics, Honors Statistics, and Financial Mathematics.
My research interests are mainly in risk management, agency conflicts, and empirical asset pricing. My research includes studying the interaction of supply chain operational and financial leverage decisions, pricing the voting component of common stock, and the regulation of investment advisors.
Please contact me if you have questions, comments, or feedback about my research. If you are near the University of Chicago (either in Hyde Park or the Gleacher Center downtown), I am happy to meet in person.
