I am a PhD candidate in economics and finance at the Department of Economics and the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago.
I currently work as an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
In September 2012, I will join the Department of Economics at New York University as an assistant professor.
My primary research areas are macroeconomics and asset pricing. I try to understand the impact of macroeconomic risk on people's behavior and economic outcomes. The research questions also relate to methods in time-series econometrics and computational economics.
I live a beautiful life with my wife Katarína.
