Announcements:

11/17: Erratum: In the solution to problem set 4, in Question 4c), the critical value should be 3.89 instead of 4.10. I have posted a new version that makes that correction.

10/18 Any remaining problem sets can be found in suite RO 229, in a beige folder in the upper right corner of the shelves.

10/18 As announced in class, there will be no class (only a TA session) on Nov. 22nd; however, there will be a class during the TA session Nov 11th instead.

10/12: For the TA session Friday, I have given the TA some material regarding connections between the various distributions we have seen in class .

Matrix algebra handout : Bring these notes to the first 2 TA sessions! Not all the information in the notes will be needed for the course (such as most of the results on matrix calculus); the TA will go through the most important results that will be referred to in the second half of the course.
