MPHY 35000 - Interactions of Radiation with Matter

Autumn 2006

This course is an introduction to the interactions of ionizing radiation with matter. The material covered in this course will provide you with a foundation for the material that you will be learning throughout your first year.

Discussion sessions are held every Friday from 11:30-12:30 in IB-007.

In the Homewok section you will find solutions to the homework problems (excluding problems from Attix).

I will update the notes section periodically with important points from the lectures. Please keep in mind that this will not be all-inclusive. You should study everything for the tests.

Announcements

The second half of the course, beginning October 30th, will be held in the Radiation Oncology conference room in DCAM section 1D.

The mid-term has been moved to November 1st and will be held in Q-207B.
