Name: ALEJO COSTA Citizenship: ARGENTINA / ITALY Fields of Interest: Asset Pricing, Money and Banking and International Finance. Summary: I´m an experienced macro/asset pricing economist, with an excellent academic background and extensive labor experience. My research focuses on asset pricing and macro problems, through the use of numerical methods and coding, with special emphasis on policy questions. In terms of labor experience, my main areas of expertise are fixed income asset pricing, default risk and financial system analysis, having worked at the IMF and the Central Bank of Argentina, during the 2002-2004 financial crisis. But my biggest strength is the ability to connect concepts from different fields, such as asset pricing, international finance and macroeconomics in a rigorous and creative way.
