This Fall the Maercker District PTO launched a new website to highlight community activities and events. You will find up-to-date information about school events, access to forms, calendars and contact information. In addition, you will soon be able to donate to your local PTO using our online process. We hope you visit often to stay in touch with your community activities.
PTO Mission
Maercker School District #60 Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) was formed to strengthen the relationship between home and school in order that parents and teachers could work together in the education of our children. Our goals for the 2010/11 school year are to 1) increase communication and collaboration with school administrators and teachers; 2) increase parental participation in PTO sponsored events; and 3) provide more family orientated activities that help to bridge the gap between family and school. |
Take part in the "Coat Drive". Gently used coats can be dropped off at either Maercker or Westview. For every coat we donate to a needy family, Aéropastale will donate a new coat as well! The drive runs through the end of October.
P.S. from Aéropastale & not-for-profit, One Warm Coat, are making kids a little warmer this October with our first annual "1 Warm Kid" Coat Drive!
P.S. from Aéropastale will match every coat donated with a brand new coat, up to 100,000 coats.

Market Day is our food fundraising program delivered to school once per month. Each month we sell more than $3500.00, we earn a 15% profit or $475.00 for the PTO.
