Abstract
New medical practices which involve advanced communication technology have begun to signal the arrival of telesurgery. From formulating a diagnosis to executing a surgical operation, telemedical procedures are taking medicine to a new level. The prospects offered by telemedicine allow us to think that tomorrow everyone will, anywhere and at anytime, be able to benefit from the most advanced medical technology. They also lead us to expect lower healthcare expenses and access to healthcare for better resource management, thanks particularly to the accelerated expansion of high-speed connections in key areas. In this presentation, we will talk about the emergence of the sub-categories of telemedicine, specifically telesurgery, as well as see where it can/will be implemented. Finally, issues with this new emergence will be openly discussed.Articles/Journals:
