I am a postdoctoral scholar with Kevin White at the University of Chicago Institute for Genomics and Systems Biology. I was a graduate student with Linda Restifo in the Interdisciplinary Program for Insect Science at the University of Arizona. My research focuses on hormonal control of development. I am interested in the evolution of temporally and environmentally regulated developmental pathways. I am currently working on the regulatory networks of Drosophila melanogaster as part of the modENCODE consortium. I am leading a collaboration producing transgenic Drosophila containing GFP-tagged transcription factors and characterizing their DNA binding properties using ChIP-seq.
