Pre-College Programs
PROMYS: a six-week summer program in number theory for highly motivated high school students.
Young Scholars Program: a free academic-year and summer math enrichment program for talented Chicago Public School students in grades 7-12.
Undergraduate Programs
Summer Math Program for Women at Carleton College: a four-week NSF-funded REU.
Cornell Math REU: an eight-week NSF-funded REU on fractals, logic, and groups. Topics may vary from year to year. Check their website for current projects.
Brigham Young University Math REU: an eight-week NSF-funded REU on minimal surfaces, Steiner problems, and graph theory. Topics may vary from year to year. Check their website for current projects.
Teacher Programs
University of Chicago Seminars for Elementary Specialists And Mathematics Educators (SESAME) Program: offers courses for professional development in math and science. These courses can be used for obtaining State of Illinois Endorsements in the Teaching of Mathematics or Science in the Middle Grades.
University of Chicago Polk Brothers Foundation Program for the Improvement of CPS Mathematics Teaching: provides the teachers with new ways to stimulate student interest in mathematics. These courses can be used for obtaining State of Illinois Endorsements in the Teaching of Mathematics or Science in the Middle Grades. Here is a Chicago Chronicle article about the program.
