I am a graduate student at the University of Chicago pursuing a PhD in Physics. Here I have posted some information about myself and my research. I'm really a friendly guy, so if you have any questions or you'd like to know more, please drop me a line.

Dave in Alaska

My studies are in theoretical condensed matter, specifically field theory methods in statistical mechanics and soft matter physics including things like nonequilibrium phenonema, ergodic to nonergodic transition and related liquid to glass transitions. I work with Professor Gene Mazenko.

Kinetic Equations Governing Smoluchowski Dynamics

KEGSD

Our work developing the kinetic equations governing density-density correlation functions in Smoluchowski systems was recently published in Physical Review E.

American Physical Society March Meeting 2012

I presented our field theory research at the annual March Meeting of the American Physical Society in Boston, MA from Feb 27 - Mar 2, 2012.
