| My name is Jason Swiecki. I am a graduate student pursuing a doctoral degree in Slavic linguistics at the University of Chicago. I will enter my third year of studies this year and will begin teaching beginning Russian.
Languages I work with include the South Slavic family (in descending order of proficiency, BCS, Macedonian, and Bulgarian), Russian, and Polish.
I am interested principally in phonology, in its synchronic and diachronic aspects, especially the prosody of Slavic languages.
