Shannon Pruden Homepage

Biosketch

Shannon Pruden is a postdoctoral fellow in the Developmental Psychology department at the University of Chicago. She grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from University of California at San Diego. There she studied with Jean Mandler and Laraine McDonough. She studied with John Kim and received her Masters in Developmental Psychology at San Francisco State University.

She received her PhD from Temple University in 2007, studying with Kathy Hirsh-Pasek (at Temple University) and Roberta Golinkoff (at the University of Delaware). Her current research interests include early language development and the acquisition of early spatial concepts.
