About Me

I am a fifth year PhD student in the Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations Department of the University of Chicago. I am focusing on Bronze Age Anatolian Archaeology, with a specific interest on craft production, community, the impacts of the Hittite Empire, and the cultures of Western Anatolia.

Currently, I am working at Çadır Höyük, a multi-period site in the Yozgat Province of Turkey. My research there focuses on Hittite ceramics and how people interacted as a community. I am interested in exploring how ceramics were used in the performance of power and community.
